Online Shopping on a Budget

Do you go online shopping often?  Do you fill up your virtual cart with adorable clothes only to reach the checkout portion and cancel the order because of: 1) overall expense 2) extreme shipping cost 3) sizing concerns or 4) "Maybe I don't need that..."

      Also their one size is the size of a small Asian as well as their large and xlarge. I wear medium or large and gave everything from this site to my 100lb sister, which were all large or xl. Total scam!

      Small sizes are completely different when dealing with countries outside of the USA and you should know this if you online shop internationally. Asian countries are typically smaller in size than what a small would be in the USA. It's not meant to be offensive, that's just how it is.

      Totally agree, I ordered like a large or xl dress and it was skin tight and could maybe have passed for a shirt..

      and to the one above getting all offended by someone saying small Asian? Seriously? How is it some people want to take everything that so much as mentions race and make it into some sort of offensive racial comment? That is just ridiculous..

You won't find someone saying "the size of a big black women" because you sound ridiculous and like you're fishing for anything to say back. Just stop. I'm sure her saying small Asian gave you the idea on the size she was trying to make reference to and that's all that really matter in this situation.

    Yes, there is a range in some of the websites and their price ranges. I added a few at the suggestion of friends and readers, because the style was similar and it wasn't ridiculously over priced. There are definitely options on the list that are within a reasonable budget.

    So, I typically buy cheap when I buy clothes but I just read the book Overdressed (http://www.overdressedthebook.com/) and now I'm seriously reconsidering it. Cheap fashion often means very bad quality that doesn't look that good on you anyway (and is also probably being made in a factory with bad wages and lots of overtime...oh, and will probably end up in a landfill in six months or a year). Kinda depressing stuff to consider when ready for a shopping spree.     I've shopped at amiclubwear and love it. The clothes the shoes and pants are true to size. Usually when im in a shopping mood i go to there clearance pick out a bunch of stuff then see if they have and discounts... they usually do so i get a bunch of clothes and shoes for cheap... the stuff is good quality too. I bought shoes there and they fit perfect and have yet to tear. I put em thru hell too. Hope this helps

    Are a lot of these geared toward a woman's body or still junior-like sizes like Forever21? I'm 28, so sadly I can't squeeze my hips or chest into a lot of Forever's clothing but I don't want to give up the cute, trendy clothes.

    I love this list! Be careful with ordering from Amiclubwear though. I ordered a pair of shoes a few weeks before Christmas. Two weeks after I placed the order I had not received it. I emailed the company and was told that the shoes I ordered was no longer available due to a flaw in the last pair they had in stock. They said they would refund me and it could take a week to appear in my bank account.Long story short I emailed them after a week because I had not recieved the refund. They said they did refund me. Long story short we went back and forth and I never got my shoes or my refund! Biggest waste of $30 ever!
